The rustic seacoast town of Hampton Falls was founded in the year 1726 as a parish of Hampton. Being located on the beautiful Taylor River provided water power for mills and other industrial businesses. Farming was the primary profession for most of Hampton Falls’ earlier residents. The orchards of the past still continue to provide for the community today.
